Beginner Sewing Lessons with Corey

Corey loves teaching new people how to sew! We offer private beginner’s sewing lessons, in private, one-on-one classes where we set them to your pace and confidence level. Corey believes in a friendly you-can-do-it approach to learning to sew, so that you feel relaxed about getting to know your sewing machine. Corey teaches all makes and models of sewing machines from Spotlight, and a private 1-hour lesson with Corey is $45.

Once you feel more confident with your machine, Corey also teaches Private Project Classes – 1-hour projects in a private lesson with Corey that teach you techniques and build your skills. These classes run for 1-hour, include all the materials you need to make your fabulous little thing, are booked to suit your schedule, and are $60.

You’ll find Mike’s Sewing Machine Repairs in Morayfield, about 45 minutes north of Brisbane, 25 minutes south of the Sunshine Coast, and 20 minutes west of Bribie Island.  We’re open 9am to Noon Tuesday to Saturday, and classes are booked Noon to 5pm.
