If you are sewing a grabby fabric, maybe softer layers that have Pellon or Felt wadding, or stretch fabrics that are dragging under your foot, then switch to a roller foot. It literally rolls on your fabric instead of dragging so you have smoother sailing as you sew. Keep in mind that visibility is a little limited on this one so not suitable for applique work (try an Open Toe foot HERE instead).
