The Juki MCS-1500N coverstitch machine caught our eye with its very smooth sewing. We love a coverstitch machine for stretch sewing, and its 1, 2 and 3 needle chain stitch is perfect for hemming t-shirts, swimwear and dancewear. The Juki MCS-1500 does even the most delicate fabric effortlessly, and while it loves hems, it’s also excellent for inserting ribbing. Sewing at 1350 stitches per minute, the MCS-1500N is an ideal side-kick to your overlocker. We highly recommend adding a coverstitch to your sewing room if you love stretch sewing. This is our favourite coverstitch machine, without double cover stitch, at the $1000 to $1500 price point. RRP is $1359.
